Approve the quote from DTE Energy to install gas service at 1750 Oak Valley Drive (District 3 Booster station), for a cost not to exceed $15,903. |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
As part of the District 3 Booster Station Phase 2 project the Board of Trustees reviewed and approved on December 11, 2019, the standby generator selected for the project will burn natural gas as opposed to diesel fuel. The required new 1-1/4" natural gas service line will fuel the standby generator as well as the HVAC upgrades to the building. Currently, the building is heated by electric heaters which are inefficient and cost prohibitive. |
