| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
This will be the fifth season of our Farmers Market's participation in the Prescription for Health Program managed by the Washtenaw County Health Department, and funded by the St. Joseph Mercy Health System. Participating health care providers write prescriptions for their patients to eat more fruits and vegetables. Prescriptions are redeemed at the Farmers Market through Public Health Staff and can be used to purchase $10 in produce for ten weeks for a total of $100 per person per season. |

The Prescription for Health Program is funded by the St. Joseph Mercy Health System and staffed by Public Health workers from the Washtenaw County Department of Health and Human Services.
