Authorize the Supervisor and Clerk to enter into an Easement Agreement with 7 Carpenter LLC. establishing an easement over the sanitary sewer main, subject to Township Attorney approval

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
As a part of the approved construction plan for 4177 Carpenter Road. New Sanitary sewer infrastructure is to be installed to service the property and the adjacent property. The extension of the sanitary sewer main will serve more than one parcel. With the main serving more than one parcel, this is to be classified as a Public Sanitary Sewer Easement. Classification was confirmed by the Director of Utilities, with the advisement of the Township Attorney. No monetary consideration for the public easement. The easement's sole purpose is to allow Pittsfield Charter Township access to new infrastructure for maintenance, repairs, and access for future use to extend the sanitary sewer service. Pittsfield Charter Township's Utilities Department will have the obligation to maintain and repair all infrastructure within these easements. |
