| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: As part of the US-12 Wastewater Improvements Project, a dewatering permit was approved by the State of Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). As part of the permit, EGLE recommends existing ground monitoring wells located near the project be monitored to gauge the impacts to the surrounding areas aquifer. Access to the ground water wells located at 5331 W. Michigan Avenue, formerly the Aunt Millie's Bakery are owned and operated by AT&T Services, Inc.. An access agreement was drafted to allow access to these monitoring wells by Pittsfield Charter Township's representatives to monitor the levels in the existing well to measure the impacts if any from the dewatering efforts. |
