| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
BR Ann Arbor LLC, is protesting the value of the land and building for the property on 3776 state St for the year 2021. The Valuation, appraisal, is due on Oct 6 to the Michigan Tax Tribunal. Mike Williams, MAI, president/principal of Gerald Alcock Company, LLC will be doing the appraisal. Their fee is $4,650 for an appraisal for 2021 and $2,750 for a second valuation for 2022. Also an hourly charge of $250 will be billed for any post appraisal work for review, prep, consult, and testimony.
I have consulted with several other appraisers and most said they could not do the appraisal on such short notice. One other appraiser quoted a figure more than three times what Mr. Williams was charging. |
