| | | | | | | | BOARD ACTION REQUESTED: Authorize the Supervisor and Clerk to sign the Subaward Agreement Amendment with Washtenaw County to receive CDBG funding in the amount of $85,000.00, subject to Township Attorney approval |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: Over the past decade, Pittsfield Township has accepted and utilized close to $1 million in CDBG funding for such projects as tennis court improvements at Montibeller Park, improvements to the Community Center, sidewalk gap filling in northeast Pittsfield, and mid-block crossing on Carpenter and Packard.
In May 2021 the Pittsfield Township Board of Trustees authorized acceptance of the current cycle of CDBG funding for an amount of $85,000 as outlined and determined with Washtenaw County Office of Economic and Community Development for the Northeast Green Infrastructure project. The project has been delayed due to contractor shortages as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and was not able to be completed within the scope/timeline of the original terms. This amendment will extend the contract through May 10, 2023, with an option to extend for an additional (3) months, with all other terms and conditions remaining the same as the original contract.
