This Ordinance came before the Board on May 11, 2022. There was a Public Hearing where the Board received public comments and held a discussion on the Ordinances. This is the Second Reading. |
| | | | | | | | IMPACT ON TOWNSHIP'S HUMAN RESOURCES:
None
IMPACT ON TOWNSHIP'S BUDGET:
May increase general revenue, as the Township would receive an amount (statutory) based on the number of retail marihuana establishments located in the Township. Furthermore, the Ordinances require a license fee of $5,000.00 per license.
IMPACT ON INDIRECT COST:
None
IMPACT ON OTHER TOWNSHIP DEPARTMENTS OR OUTSIDE AGENCIES:
Marihuana business license applications will be reviewed and processed by various departments, such as Public Safety and Municipal Services Departments, and the Clerk’s Office.
