| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
Due the flooding earlier this year, the edging on new section of trail at Lillie Park collapsed and the trail suffered surface damage from the historic heavy rains. This section of trail needs to be repaired and three quotes were obtained and presented to the Park Commission for review and approval.
The Pittsfield Charter Township's Park Commission would like to recommend that we hire Local Life Maintenance Group, LLC (Local Life), low bidder, to make the repairs which will include backfilling the edges with clay dirt for stability, adding topsoil for grading, repairing the stone on the trail to fix the surface damage, and finishing with a seed and straw mat for grass restoration. Once approved, work is expected to be completed in the fall of 2021. |
