| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
A Special Events Permit Application has been submitted to the township by the ChadTough Foundation to hold a fundraising event on September 25, 2021. The race will take place from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Campus Parkway, Community Drive, Bicentennial Parkway, and Wilson Road in Pittsfield Township. The ChadTough Foundation is seeking authorization from the Township Board, as required per Public Act 200 of 1969 – Driveways, Banners, and Parades, to apply for a Road Closure Permit from the Washtenaw County Road Commission for this fundraiser event. The ChadTough Foundation has entered into a service contract with the Department of Public Safety to provide police coverage for the requested road closure. Six police officers will be utilized for this detail with full reimbursement of overtime and equipment costs paid by the ChadTough Foundation. |

IMPACT ON TOWNSHIP'S BUDGET:
A Police Services Contract with the ChadTough Foundation will provide for reimbursement of costs associated with providing services/coverage at the RunTough for ChadTough event. No other costs are associated with said event.

No impact on the other department or outside agencies.
IMPACT ON OTHER TOWNSHIP DEPARTMENTS OR OUTSIDE AGENCIES:
