BACKGROUND:
The Montibeller Park Phase I improvements consist of the construction of a shelter building, including installation of a shelter plaza, parking lot curbs and sidewalks, and utility leads. This also includes the removal of the existing shed structure and trees in the proposed plaza construction area. In addition, alternatives include the construction of an arrival point plaza, gravel parking lot improvements, existing restroom building rehabilitation, removal of an existing tennis court, removing of an existing pavilion, and baseball field improvements.
At the Special Meeting held May 25, 2021, the Park Commission approved awarding the Montibeller Park Phase 1 Improvements to A.R. Brouwer Company with the base plus Brouwer supply quotes for the add-ons.

1.2 Selection of Contractor
Based on Stantec review of the references, and the bids received, they recommend A. R. Brouwer, the lowest responsive responsible bidder for the project.
Motion of support to go to the Board of Trustees the Montibeller Park Phase 1 Improvements to award the contract to A. R. Brouwer Company with the base plus Brouwer supply quotes for the add-ons and include a $50,000 contingency by Chairperson Tupacz, supported by Commissioner Reilly.
