WHEREAS, Pittsfield Charter Township recognizes the need to make improvements to it's existing wastewater collection system; and

WHEREAS, Pittsfield Charter Township authorizes Stantec Consulting Michigan, Inc. to prepare a Project Plan, which recommends a project phased over two years, including improvements to the wastewater collection system and sanitary lift station.

WHEREAS, said Project Plan was presented at a Public Hearing held on May 26, 2021 and all public comments will been considered and addressed;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Pittsfield Charter Township formally adopts said Project Plan and agrees to implement the selected alternative; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Utilities is designated as the authorized representative for all activities associated with the project reference above, including the submittal of said Project Plan as the first step in applying to the State of Michigan for a Clean Water State Revolving Fund Loan to assist in the implementation of the selected alternative.
