WHEREAS, a petition RZ 20-01, Geddes Vista was received by the Township on January 6, 2020, requesting a map amendment to rezone two AG, Agriculture parcels (L -12-22-100-001 and L -12-22-100-002) to Planned Unit Development (PUD); and

WHEREAS, the Pittsfield Township Planning Commission reviewed the petition; and 

WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 6.02 of the Pittsfield Township Zoning Ordinance, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and received and considered public comments on this petition on December 17; and

WHEREAS, the Pittsfield Township Planning Commission determined that the petition does not meet the standards for a zoning amendment as provided in Section 6.02.B of the Zoning Ordinance; and

WHEREAS, the Pittsfield Township Planning Commission recommended that the Pittsfield Township Board of Trustees deny petition RZ 20-01 Geddes Vista and transmitted the PUD Rezoning Review, as the Planning Commission’s report on the petition; and

WHEREAS, the Pittsfield Charter Township Board of Trustees has reviewed the request, the report of the Township Planner and the recommendation of the Planning Commission;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Pittsfield Township Board of Trustees adopts the recommendation of the Planning Commission and declines to rezone the parcels known as L -12-22-100-001 and L -12-22-100-002 from AG to Agriculture, to PUD Planned Unit Development.
