Authorize the Supervisor and Clerk to enter into an Utility Service Agreement with Saline Area Schools and City of Saline, subject to Township Attorney approval. |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
Saline Area Schools (SAS) desire to construct a concession and storage facility. Due to the proposed location of this facility and it not being in close proximity to township water and sewer utilities, SAS has been granted a variance for only this project (Resolution #19-49) to allow connection into the City of Saline water and sewer system.
At this time, SAS wishes to move forward and enter into an agreement with the Township and City for the described connections to be completed with in the next five years. This agreement makes the SAS responsible for all costs for the described efforts, as well as, should water and sewer ever be extended to the area by the township, SAS will be required to disconnect from the City of Saline and connect into the township utilities at that time with no cost to be born by the township. |
