Authorize the Supervisor and Clerk to enter into an Agreement with Mission Control GG, Inc for the Parks and Recreation Esports Program, subject to Township Attorney approval. |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
Parks and Recreation will partner with Parks and Recreation Departments in Ypsilanti Township and Saline to offer Esports hosted by Mission Control. With gaming interest increasing during the pandemic, Esports allows participants to engage in organized, multiplayer video game competitions. This partnership will allow us to share costs of the program. Both costs and revenues will be shared three ways. The partnership will be named Washtenaw SPY League (Saline, Pittsfield, Ypsilanti Township). |
