WHEREAS, the Pittsfield Charter Township Board of Trustees on September 23, 2020 adopted Resolution #20-38 instituting a temporary moratorium on approval of outdoor signs; and

 WHEREAS, the Resolution provided for any aggrieved property owner or business to request a hearing for the purpose of attempting to demonstrate to the Township Board that the temporary deferral pronounced in the Resolution would preclude any viable economic use of their property; and 

 WHEREAS, FRG Enterprises, doing business as Marco’s Pizza (3238 Ann Arbor Saline Road,) has requested a hearing and has asserted that without an outdoor sign to attract employees and customers it will be denied any viable economic use of the property; and

 WHEREAS, The Township Planner and Township Attorneys have been reviewing the sign regulations contained in the Pittsfield Charter Township Zoning Ordinance and will be presenting proposed changes to the Ordinance;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that FRG Enterprises is granted relief from the temporary deferral of outdoor signs and may proceed with applications and review of proposed signs for its business, located at 3238 Ann Arbor Saline Road, the current moratorium notwithstanding; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the relief granted by this Resolution does not grant any approval, but simply allows the application to proceed through the process.
