WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees adopted updated Township Personnel Policies on June 12, 2019; and

WHEREAS, these Personnel Policies cover the categories of Employment, Employment Status & Records, Employee Benefits, Timekeeping/Payroll, Work Conditions & Hours, Leaves of Absence, Employee Conduct & Disciplinary Actions, and Miscellaneous; and

 WHEREAS, in keeping with the value of continual improvement of processes and policies and the gold standard of public services, the Department of Human Resources, under direction of the Supervisor, has reviewed and updated various Personnel Policies to ensure compliance with township practices, and local, state, and federal laws; and

 WHEREAS, the revised personnel policies have been reviewed and signed off by the Township Attorney;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Pittsfield Charter Township Board of Trustees approves the Personnel Policies (attached), effective December 9, 2020.
