| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
In a continued effort to improve the Community Center building, the Supervisor’s Office has directed the majority of the 2018-2019 CDBG funding allocation ($75,000) for roof replacement, which would, in conjunction with the roof replacement work undertaken about five years ago, provide for a full roof replacement at 701 W. Ellsworth. The initial environmental assessment has been completed and additional testing is required. As an additional part of the grant requirement, additional testing is required. Three quarters of soil gas samples are being requested.
The total cost of the Vapor Intrusion Assessment is $7,800 ($2,600 per quarter). We are proposing the work be completed by Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc., in order that they may continue to conduct the required assessment prior to doing the roof replacement work. |
