BACKGROUND:
The 2021 DPS budget includes the purchase of three police patrol vehicles. The three police patrol vehicles will replace existing vehicles in the department's fleet. These three vehicles will have exceeded the length of service and mileage by the time the new vehicles are delivered and outfitted, and/or have increasing repair cost necessitating replacement.
Police vehicles to be replaced:
2012 Chevrolet Tahoe – 128,179
2014 Ford Interceptor – 122,371 miles
2015 Dodge Charger – 94,440 miles
