Pittsfield Township Fire Department along with 11 other departments (Ann Arbor Twp., Augusta Twp., Belleville, Chelsea, Manchester, Northfield Twp., Salem, Saline, Superior Twp., Van Buren Twp., and Ypsilanti Twp.) applied for and were successfully awarded a total of $129,654.96 for COVID-19 preparedness. This grant is for the purchasing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for COVID-19 responses. Pittsfield Township will receive $14,995.08 to purchase items such as gloves, masks, gowns, and other PPE. Pittsfield Township will be responsible for a 10% match. |
