Approve retroactively inspection coverage for the month of July by Code Enforcement Services for all mechanical and plumbing inspections, for a cost not to exceed $37,114. |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
The township's Mechanical/Plumbing Inspector's last day was June 1, 2020. Code Enforcement Services, who has been doing our commercial plan reviews for over twenty years, has agreed to provide inspection coverage until the township can hire a replacement. Code Enforcement Services completed 482 plumbing and mechanical inspections for the township during the month of July, at a total cost of $37,114. |

IMPACT ON TOWNSHIP'S BUDGET:
There is increase in the per inspection cost but a decrease in salaries and benefits cost, so that it comes close to being even. Funded through Account # 249-818.
