| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND:
In a continued effort to improve the Community Center building, the Supervisor’s Office has directed the majority of the 2018-2019 CDBG funding allocation ($75,000) for roof replacement, which would, in conjunction with the roof replacement work undertaken about five years ago, provide for a full roof replacement at 701 W. Ellsworth. The initial environmental assessment has been completed and additional testing is required. As an additional part of the grant requirement, a Phase II environmental assessment has to be undertaken for which we have, once again, obtained grant funding from the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.
The total cost of the Phase II environmental assessment is $5,100 with the WCBRA reimbursing us the entire cost. We are proposing the work be completed by Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. in order that they may continue to conduct the required environmental assessment prior to doing the roof replacement work. |
